However, when ever I download, a web page, or a big file, all of my system resources are taken up. For example, if I am downloading something, my mouse only MOVES about every 20 seconds. When I ma listening to music and surifing the web, the song gets laggy. I am not sure of the cause of this.OK, here goes the USUAL drill. Scan for Spyware, adware and viruses Ad Aware, Spybot, and AVG Free work well for this, if you don't have one or all of these. You can google for the download sites. If that doesn't fix things, then post the specifics of your machine - make/model, etc. etc., the more the better. Identify what was happening before your machine started slowing down - did you spill coffee in it, kick it over, etc. etc. Someone will then be along shortly to solve the problem with you. Actually, for some reason, Turning off page fiel solved the problem. I have no spyware, or ANYTHING like. And I already said, I installed a new memory card and this started happening. Scan for Spyware, adware and viruses

Ad Aware, Spybot, and AVG Free work well for this, if you don't have one or all of these. You can google for the download sites.
