Answer» Hi I am using Windows XP PRO SP3. I want to manage INTERNET bandwidth between my Applications. Sometimes many apps requiring to be connected to Internet are running at same time such as Internet browsers, download manager (IDM &bittorrent) , anti viruses , online games , ETC. when some applications are running they get most speed of internet and browsers hardly open web pages and or anti viruses get updates slowly, etc. , how i can manage internet bandwidth between apps.when antiviruses are downloading updates how they can get most speed of internet for it. these specific app that i told are just EXAMPLES. i want to KNOW how to manage speed of internet between apps in GENERAL. That is often done automatically. A few programs have built-in management. If you are doing P2P in the background, that application should have a throttle.
Example: Vuze ( http://vuse.com ) is a torrent app with bandwidth management.
Otherwise, you buy a specific router that can do that and/or buy the third party software that does it. Look at Crisco systems. http://tools.cisco.comTry this--> http://seriousbit.com/netbalancer/ You could also go by a higher internet bandwith if you are having trouble keeping up with all the activities...
