Solve : make a bootable flash drive? |

Answer» Ok, the title says it all. How does one do it? How would you get the BIOS to recognize a flash drive as one of the bootable devices?Go into the BIOS, find the Boot Order list, and change the USB Boot to the first thing on the list Ale52: Check out SLAX, a Live version of Linux. You will not be able to commit data to the flash drive with this version of Linux, but it will boot from a flash drive quite well. http://www.slax.org/ These directions have a batch script that will make your device bootable, and copy all the linux files for you http://www.slax.org/doc_install_slax.php#makedisk DON'T INSTALL IT TO THE C: DRIVE!
