Answer» Hello! For a few days my monitor's display is covered with magenta hue. Sometimes it goes after awhile, sometimes it stays all the time driving me crazy. Does anybody know what's going on? (I'm using Windows XP Home Edition). Thank you.It's probably a problem with your monitor. What kind of monitor do you have? How old is it? Check the color settings on the monitor and also try resetting it from the menu. If the settings look FINE, and if you have an older monitor, it may just be time to buy a new one. If its new and under warranty, take it back. I don't know if this will help or not, but I once got a yellowish hue on my monitor, turned out that it was a problem with the monitor cable. It was kinked, I straightened it out and it was fine. However I THINK that you may be right about it. When I (following your suggestion) pushed the menu button, I found out it's not working. It will be the the monitor problem. I didn't FIND any problem with the cable. It wasn't kinked, and I never touch it.

I have a Samtron 77V monitor. It's not so old - more less 5 years, and except the problem I mentioned it works perfectly. However I THINK that you may be right about it. When I (following your suggestion) pushed the menu button, I found out it's not working.
