I copied a home movie from a friend off his memory stick plugged into my PC and copied it directly ONTO a DVD on the same PC but the other day i lost the DVD somewhere and my friend has the memory stick but lives in Australia. Is there any way that my PC will have stored the file on it's hard drive as i know that the police use forensic recovery software that recovers deleted files but would there be any TRACE of my lost movie any where on the PC that i could take to a forensic PERSON to recover? I would be most GRATEFUL to any answers or suggestions as this movie is of great sentimental value. Basil1924Have him burn you a COPY and ship it from Australia...buy him a few Pints.
