Answer» well let me start by saying that i download this file and did what it told me do >>>>Microsoft Online Crash Analysis: Windows Memory Diagnostic <<< all i can say im locked out from my pc .... it wont read cd-rom or disk and my keyboared not working ...but it would boot up but wont let me do anything eles and yes it gave me 3 beeps and as i see it a FIRST 64k ram failure so i went out and got a new one and still get the 3 beeps but allso i see nothing on monter i have no idea what eles 2 do . any idea would be greatfull for the help i get here from you's people ty .... im runing a windows xp sp2 intel4 Did the memory diagnostic program report faulty memory?no it found nothingBe certain the floppy disk is removed and set the first boot device to HDD 0.so u telling me 2 remove the floppy disk . all so how would i know what the first boot device to HDD 0 isi see in my case is >>> sec ide & pri ide & floppyRemove any diskettes present. I never told you to remove the FDD. Quote all so how would i know what the first boot device to HDD 0 is You can set the boot order in the BIOS.okay i never took anything out ..... i cant get in my bios nothing shows up on my monter ..And you are certain that the mainboard is equiped with an AMI BIOS? That is the only BIOS according to this that would indicate Base 64K RAM failure with 3 beeps. If you are certain, you should return the mainboard, because from what I have read, the 64K RAM failure can not be resolved? You may wish to try to reset your BIOS first.yes im certain i have a AMI BIOS. is there another way that i can reset the bios . but i say one thing nothing comes up on my screen video monter .You can remove the CMOS battery for 10-15 seconds and then place it back. KEEP the computer powered off for the duration of this action.that seem not to do anything. but ty very much for your help . i took out the CMOS battery for 15 seconds but as i say on top here ,it didn't do ANYTHINGI am not quite certain what you should do. You may wish to return the computer if it is still under warranty (Or perhaps only the mainboard). But perhaps it would be better if you were to wait for a more experienced member to come online.thank you for All the help sir. im just going 2 wait 1 more day and i see if i can get other boared. 1's again tyIf you have add a new ramstick remove it.......and use the old one......if this is applicable........to you!

If you are certain, you should return the mainboard, because from what I have read, the 64K RAM failure can not be resolved?
