I am on someone elses PC because I disabled my moniter on my Dell Xps Laptop, thinking it would automatically switch over to the ATI card that I had it previously set on. I don't really want to take it in to a PC repair SHOP, so maybe someone could help me.

I can't see anything on my screen after to INITIAL booting. I can here it when I sign in, but the screen is blank, and I can turn it brighter. I've ALREADY hooked it up to an external moniter and used the crt/lcd function key.When you connect it to an external MONITOR, can you not simply do the following:

1. Right click on Desktop
2. Properties
3. Select the primairy monitor,
4. Apply and OK.When you disconnect you laptop from ny monitor....it will return to normal........systems specs are/laptop model is Quote

I did hook it up to an external moniter but the screen is still blank.
