I'm planning on buying my very first LAPTOP.
Can anyone pls give me advice on what the best BRAND is.
thanks.What are you planning on doing with it? How much do ou have to spend? These questions will drive the purchase. I would not recommend any without a 3 YEAR warranty, but that's just me. One bad screen and you are out the cost of the laptop.
If you are just doing internet and e-mail, a $499 special may be all you need. If you are planning heavy gaming, you're probably looking at 2 grand.
Don't get an "off-brand" whatever the price.I'm planning on doing internet, email, photoshop, flash, and some programming languages. I don't plan on using it for gaming. I can only spend upto $750 for it.
