A person I know has a LAP top that just stopped working. The lap top is a little old and may have problems but I do not have the information to GET into details. All I know is that when an attempt is made to TURN on the lap top, there is a black screen and you hear:
BEEP....Beep beep beep...Beep.
And the screen remains black. Does anyone have any ideas as to some possible ways to get it working again?
Thanks in advance.No screen and beeps...perhaps the drive itself or one of the add on cards is not seated properly.
What kind of laptop is this and has it been dropped recently ? ?It's an IBM and hasn't be dropped.
I just realized that the beeps are apparently a code, I double checked and the code I am hearing is 1331, I believe.
It's actually:
Beep [pause] 3 beeps [pause] 3 beeps [pause] beep[url=http://From our Warehouse of Knowledge...]
