Answer»

Hi
I hope someone can help, we have just moved so my computer has been in a box for over a week, I have set it all up but when I switch it on I can not get it to detect the keyboard.

The Mouse is working fine.
OS is XP
I have tried using USB and PS2 with an adaptor but no joy, can anyone help? Can you try a DIFFERENT USB Port?Have tried all of them Can you borrow another keyboard and try it?

Perhaps it got damaged when you moved.I have tried that but no joy, I even got hold of a NEW one from WorkHmmmm....Strange.....

Can you get hold of a PS/2 Keyboard and try again?

Will let you know how I get onAll Right, I'll be here. Hi Carbon Dudeoxide, I would like to thanks for the help using a old style PS2 worked a  treat and I now have my USB Keyboard working.
Must have had a GOOD effect as I have got my wireless print serve working as well, you must have sent my PC good vibes.
Regards Bloater Everyone should have a PS2 Keyboard and Mouse....even if they just sit in the closet.
Just like everyone should have a Windows CD....
