Answer» Hi people, I know I am not a regular here, but I hope you can help anyway. As the subject says, I am getting JAGGED edges when I view photographic images in Photoshop CS3 as well as Explorer and other programs. Particularly, they are appearing in PS Bridge preview images. It is especially bad in images where there is transition from light to dark tones. Instead of a smooth transition, I see jagged edges delineating the different tones. THUS far, I have had my graphics card checked by the local PC shop, but not my MONITOR. I have also downloaded all the latest drivers for everything and checked and tweaked all my settings. Nothing seems to work. Also, I have a copy of QUAKE III ARENA (Yes, I still love that game!) and it has suddenly gone dark. Does this sound familiar to anyone out there? Thanks for your time. Cheers, Paul. PS I have already checked the same images on a friend's PC and did not have the same issues. Getting a little desperate here. Can you try another monitor? (Or try this current monitor on another computer)
Also, what are your color settings set at? (Right Click Desktop --> Settings Tab --> 256 colors, 16-bit, 32-bit or 64-bit)
