Answer» Must have missed the memo again. As I recall, when Nathan assigned the original mods it was done on the basis of who showed an interest or who Nathan thought was suited for the job. When did this call for NEW mods go out? Is there anything going on that requires the need for more mods? Is there a moderator wannabe list? When did becoming a MOD morph into a popularity contest? it was done on the basis of who showed an interest or who Nathan thought was suited for the job.But Nathan is barely around (if at all): Quote Last Online:05th Jun 2006 at 22:30:28*Last Post:05th Jun 2006 at 22:30:28*Last PM:19th May 2006 at 21:13:10*Quote Nathan is the administrator, let him administrate.I wish he would!Fair enough, but there are many members who are READING the threads starting from the most recent page and may think they have missed something. 8-) Edit: This post was in response to Panboy not RobI certainly was not calling for more mods, except Rob, who is a shoe in. We certainly don't need more (except Rob) and those of us who have been around for a while remember why there are any to BEGIN with. I do miss Nathan however.Just what I need... another unpaid responsibility... Thanks for the vote of confidence though! PS What's a "shoe in"?Sorry I used the common instead of the correct spelling. http://www.worldwidewords.org/qa/qa-sho1.htm Although some respectable organizations use the other way: http://money.cnn.com/2006/01/06/news/newsmakers/bestcos_timberland/index.htmHadn't come across it either way. So you reckon I'm "the winner of a rigged race" eh?! Rob, you should just go ahead and email the admin asking to be a moderator. Just tell him we told you to. If he was around more often, then I am sure you would be already. But, he did tell me that he was busy with other things , mainly CH emails. Too many people send them, and he is the only one that answers them.Quote he did tell me that he was busy with other things , mainly CH emails.
