Answer» I am going to have to get another pc b/c my old one has WINXP on it. I understand that few pcs have dial-up modems now. I was going to go to an ISP like netzero to SAVE money as I am paying about $30 a month for DSL and I am not a heavy-duty internet user. I NEED to save money. Things are tight. Are there any budget-friendly ISP for non-dial-up pcs? Thanks.I don't think you'll find much in the way of internet access for less than $30 other than dialup but you might look into something called FreedomPop. You have to buy the device but then you get 500MB of data free per month. That wouldn't be ENOUGH for me but may WORK for you. http://www.freedompop.com/?ftm_source=google&ftm_medium=cpc&ftm_campaign=FreedomPop:US:CLW:SRC:KWD:DTO&ftm_placement=-&ftm_term=e-freedompop&ftm_network=search-g&ftm_content=49864070359-1t1&ftm_adgroup=FreedomPop&ftm_device=dto&ftm_devicemodel=&ftm_merchad={adtype}&ftm_pid={adwords_producttargetid}&ftm_madname=[na#home
They also have a plan that gives you 2GB of data per month for $10/month.It may be a GOOD idea to post where you are...just sayinI'm in Panama City, FL.
