Solve : intermittent no video at power up?

Answer»

Intermittently, usually when the computer's been off for a few hours,  I power up and no video. Then, I switch off, power up again, and its fine. SOMETIMES, I have to switch on twice.
I have changed the PSU, the Case (to change the power switch), the graphics card and the hard drive. I FIGURE the only two things left are the mobo and the cpu. Any thoughts?Try swapping the monitor.Nope, did that. swapped cables, case, harddrive, psu, disconnected cd drives and floppy, swapped graphics CARDS, changed power schemes. I'm thinking of rebooting the bios, but I think I did that already. Changed the BATTERY. I may have to change Mobos, but like an idiot I sold my Gigabyte G7zxe that runs Athlon xp's. I'll have to look for another one. Could it be the cpu somehow? I'd like to change that. Which reminds me, I have a mobile Athlon that runs at half speed on a desk top. Can I fix that? Change the VOLTAGE maybe?
