Solve : Intel video driver 845G win98?

Answer»

I cannot get my screen to do more than 16 colors. Have tried to install a driver from Intel a few times.

When I go to Display/Settings/Advanced, there is no tab for Monitor and when I click on Intel Extreme Graphics in Control Panel, nothing happens.

1.8 Mhz Celeron win98 have you tried contacting their support desk?Go Start>Settings>Control Panel>Control Panel
Double click on "System"
Click on DEVICE Manager tab.
See, if Monitor is listed there.
It'll have a "+" sign next to it.
Click on it, and tell us what it says.

Hewlett Packard...I think this is what you're looking for.Ran win9x1361.exe

looks good. then when Windows restarts, it says graphics not right.

Still only 16 colors. In Device Manager do you have "Other devices" entry? In Device Manager, I do not see an Other devices entry.

Yellow circle exclamation POINT next to Intel 82845G/GL/etc Graphics Controller.
Then you have to download a new driver from a link provided by Calum:
Link Edit.downloaded that.

after Windows restarted, still same PROBLEM. I get a popup that says there is a problem with graphics and prompts me to start Add New Hardware part of Control Panel. In that case, it looks to me, that your on-board graphic chip is damaged.
You may NEED to get video card (not that expensive).
