Answer» Can anyone tell if I can install a new OEM Windows XP Pro over one that is on my COMPUTER, about a year ago a FRIEND install Windows XP Pro on my computer I now find that it is not an OEM Version I have BROUGHT a full OEM version and would like to install it. My question is can I install it over the existing Version without losing data or programs. If I RUN the new version as a repair will that do it.
