I don't know what I think about " Pause...look of puzzlement, finding myself strangely at a loss for words; my mouth fell open. Is it odd to ask what someone is thinking about? i know that it has become common for one to ask rhetorically: " What was he thinking? " So for instance i find myself thinking from time to time: Why ask a question "rhetorically" if an answer is generally unwelcomed?
