Answer» HI all in NEED of some help. As I am not a real computer expert I need to come here for some help. Well actually for my dad, he was watching a horse race and the buffering was running very slow so a screen popped up that said to download a faster version click here. So he did and with that the computer has gone into powersafe mode unfortunately we cannot get back into the computer and every TIME we try it comes up with a black screen that says powersafe mode. If anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this can they please reply thanks Sexynic i've never dealt with this before, but when does it say powersafe mode? like how long does it take and on what screen?It is going to power safe mode as soon as computer turned onhmm... sounds like malicious software..When the pop-up popped up, what did it say to download? A newer version of what? That is probably the problem. Also, what your OS?
