Downloaded routinely the 8+mb Search Task Bar program, but unable to Install. Box
says ASVAP32.dll is linked to ConnectStringSecurityDescriptor TO SecurityDescriptorW.

I hope one of you geniuses understands this because its far beyond me.

The MSN Search icon is on my Desktop, but unusable:   Error creating process c:\windows\temp\IXP000.TMP\setup.exe.
Reason, a device attached to the system is not functioning.

Went to FIND, Searched MSN Toolbar. Result: 561 files Found.
At Open  MSN Toolbarsetup en_us,   Result: Newer version already installed.

I'm looking for a means to make searching my emails easier, and this certainly seems
to be it. Will appreciate specific info/path to get rid of the IMPEDIMENT to the
Installation. Please bear in mind my inexperience. Put at its best, I'm a computer
novice.

I don't recommend any kind of accessory such as this. Can you uninstall it in Control Panel, download it again and reinstall? (If you must)Thank you. Two Questions:

1. Basis of reco not to use it? (I'll certainly follow your advice if need be.)

2. What do you reco that will enable me to find specific email beyond the date/type/etc. at top of email form?All of those add ons, toolsbars are just BEGGING for spyware/adware/virii. As a general rule I do not. Those are "enhancements" I can live without, ALTHOUGH some here like the google toolbar.

How about a dedicated e-mail program, or are you all web-based e-mail?What is a dedicated email?
I suppose I have an all web based, etc.
I've simply used Hotmail since I started using the internet.
