Answer» A most interesting problem, and one that much internet scouring revealed is rather rare (or at least not widely discussed.)

and
http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w170/JaeganX/mpbug2.jpg (This is NOT a photobucket page. It is a video trailer, and the photobucket page on the opposite tab got superimposed onto it when I switched tabs.)
So basically, the screen GETS whatever was behind it superimposed onto it. If I OPEN up a game or some other program where it comes to the forefront of the screen and you must alt-tab out of it, the image there will be imposed where the videos are. (AKA, if the right side of my screen had a monkey and WMP was on the right side, a monkey would be superimposed on the WMP screen, and would stay there even as the video continues to PLAY.)
As you can see, this affects videos playing in firefox as well. This bug only being to happen when a resource heavy program, such as most games, is used. For some reason it does not affect youtube videos.
WMP must be closed and restarted in order to function PROPERLY. A complete computer restart is needed for firefox videos affected.
I have updated my drivers but the issue persists. Any thoughts?Try updating the video codecs you use.
