Solve : iGoogle tab in tool bar?

Answer»

I somehow managed to add an iGoogle tab that always appears when I go to my sign in page. There does not seem to be any option to make it go away. Am I missing something...would appreciate any suggestions?
Thanks.BROWSER?
Just to clarify, are you talking about a toolbar or a browser tab?Sorry, I MEANT a browser tab.Now we just NEED the name and version of your browser...my normal home page when I sign in in MSN. While on my iGoogle page I hit a button that added a tab for google to my MSN homepage whenever I sign in. I cannot find any option anywhere to get rid of this extra tab. I hope I'm a little clearer. Not really because I still don't know what browser you're using to view these pages. I.e. what program do you open to view web pages?
Common browsers INCLUDE, Internet Explorer 6 or 7, Firefox 2 and Opera 9.I just figured it out...Tools...Internet Options...Google added itself to my Homepage settings.
Sorry I wasn't very clear...it's 4:20am & I've been staring at this way too long.

Thanks.iGoogle is simply your personalised google start page...you have MSN so decide on one or the other.
As a tab item it is not gobbling up a ton of resources...it's merely a shortcut.

Sounds like from this and the other post you're doing some performance tweaking of that machine no ? ?
If so post back with all the system specs including hardware and we can take it from there.
