Solve : IE 6 Sometimes Disconnect?

Hello friends, i'm using windows 98 SE, and have mozila firefox, and IE6.
Sometimes during sufring INTERNET using IE6 it will disconnect,showing the

(something like the URL above)

but the mozilla can access the internet.The only way to solve it that i know is to restart the computer, then it fine.
The QUESTION is, how do i solve it without RESTARTING?
And i don't think this is about virus, and i'm using avast.
