Solve : ID Cables?

Answer»

Thought that it would be easier to ask one big question instead of several small ones.  I have three cables that I dont know anything about

1.  Is a parrelle/serial femal splitter an the other end has a male parrelle

2.  I have a regular usb connection to a smaller usb then those seen on camera's

3. I have a Trend Net TU-ET100C, Its a usb adapter that allows to connect network patch cables.  I installed the driver but, do you need to do it on the other MACHINE.  Also, what cable is needed?  Cross Over or Patch Quote from: Ryuk on February 12, 2012, 06:03:50 PM

Not sure what you mean.

Cute, but not needed. The camera comes with a cable.

Stop. USB is not compatible with Ethernet.

TU-ET100C is a compact 10/100Mbps network adapter for the USB INTERFACE. The TU-ET100C features plug-n-play installation and it is compatible with Windows 98/ME/2000/XP. The TU-ET100C draws power directly from PCs.
Do not use it unless you have to.
For $15 you can find other ways to HOOK two PCs together. If that is what you want.
The dongle below is under $7. Buy a pair.

Are you sure that middle one is USB? Seems more like the small FIREWIRE connectors.
The third is a USB network CARD. You can plug a network cable into it.

I'm not sure what the first one is used for. It's old, though. The middle one has a standard USB on the other end.  So the USB Nic, doesnt need any drivers an I can use which, ever cable? Quote from: Ryuk on March 01, 2012, 11:50:21 AM

Are you sure that is USB? Because it doesn't look like USB.

The network card will need drivers to function.

The middle one looks like the USB cable you sometimes get with a phone or a camera.the other end is a standard USB size
