Answer» This isnt a problem as much as curiosity , My icons showing my drives have took missing , it doesnt cause any problems of COURSE , I just wonder if anyone has had that happen and why and how do I get them back ... heres a image of what I'm talking about , Thanks I'm guessing that's a Print Screen from My Computer?
Have you restarted?yes thats a screen shot showing my computer and yes I have restarted many many times since this happened OPEN Windows Explorer. Go ToolsFolder Options>File Types>SELECT 'Drive'>Advanced button>Change Icon It should be pointing to c:\windows\system32\shell32.dll. Once I get to folder options I have a choice of General, View and Search thats it no file types , no advanced button no change icon Oh, I'm sorry, you're with Vista.
