ok the comp im running has win 2000 PRO and when i go to start it there is a pass and my correct pass and logon is not working is there any way i can bypass it i have no idea what to do....plz help asap all i need to do is get it to windows and i can deal with it from there any way i try to go arround it safemode ect it wats that pass

Are we talking a laptop, desktop, or tower?its a desktop the message i keep getting is...

the system chould not log u on. make shure the username and DOMAIN are correct. then type ur password agan. letters in passwords must be typed using the correct case. make shure the caps lock is not accidently on.

i do not know what this pass or domain is supose to be.
i just got this comp yesterday and it did not have that on there till this morning when i TURNED it on i have tryed restarting in safemode and it still wants that windows pass im trying to get a hold of who i got it from to c if thay know what it is

What has caused this to happen?i wish i knew what caused this to happin and if i press enter i get that msg so i have no idea what  to do for it so any help would be nice. if i can get into windows i know how to disable it but i cant
