Solve : I/O error 103?

Answer»

I help out at a local charity, who have a peer to peer network running a debt calculation program. The software is stored on each PC, with the data on a "host" PC and the other machines mapped to it.

On all machines EXCEPT the host, opening a list of active files produces an error MESSAGE - "I/O 103". The PC will then display the first few lines of client data - this should fill the page.

I have STRUGGLED to find any information about I/O 103, or make PROGRESS to resolving this issue. There's nothing odd in the event log, devices are not in conflict and we have re-made the mapping.

Any thoughts/pointers much appreciated.Just a guess but we'd probably need to know what program it is...AH, good point. It's called PGDebt, and here's a link to the program site ...

Many thanks

Have you contacted PG Computing?
"I/O 103" is not a generic Windows error message but most likely one specific for PGDebt. Unless someone with in depth knowledge of PGDebt comes along it is unlikely we will be able to tell you what this error message means.Ok, thanks for your help.
