Answer» My computer deleted its own operating system, 3 times. Alan <>< When the computer states that it can't FIND the operating system that doesn't necessarily (doesn't USUALLY) mean that the operating system has been deleted. It's more likely there is a problem with the boot record or the like. Give us some more info, as Alan requested, and be sure to include the exact error message.
