IBM® F1 IBM E-pro Laptop F2 IBM PS/2® CTRL+ALT+INS after CTRL+ALT+DEL IBM Thinkpad® (newer) Windows: Programs-Thinkpad CFG And change the boot sequence to boot from cdrom.by using the arrow keys .........on the keyboard what message is displayed on the screen on boot.......some big firms take the hard drive out......has it got one!If your Win98 is an upgrade, you will need to provide evidence of previously OWNING a version of Windows. It happened to me and I had an old version on diskettes which, luckily, I never threw away. I had to insert three different diskettes before it was CONVINCED that I did actually have a previous version of Windows.Have you re-partitioned it and re-formatted, or is it still formatted to NTFS? Do you know what OS it had on it before? |
