Solve : I/0 device error??

Answer»

Every time i try to load up my usb drive it gives me a 'request failed becasue of I/0 device error.' what does this mean and how do i fix it? it's a San Disk cruzer mini is that helps. What OP system are you using?if by op you mean operating system i'm using windows 2000Do other USB devices work on that port?yesDid you read the INSTRUCTION manual?  Some USB devices want  their drivers installed first before you plug it in and if you plug  the device in w/o the driver, it'll give you problems.  I had a USB printer that did that to me.   no, it has worked before, but all of a sudden it won't workdid you have anything else installed in that port? have you tried a different one? was it originally in a different one. I have a webcam that only LIKES to use the front bottom USBi've never tried another usb drive in that port. i know its not the usb drive because it WORKS on other computers. i don't know if anything else has been installed in that port, do you know of any way that i could check? and would uninstalling it solve my PROBLEM?
