ok if no one knows the answer the first question i ask  does any one know how to reset it back to factory defaults its a hp mini 110 netbook 103NR with an atom processor 1.6 gh thanks in advance Have you visited the HP site for instructions ? ?
All net/notebooks do it a bit different...yes and i have even printed the 85 page manuel and still no help also i have reserched it all over the net to the best of my ability which is  not very tech savy...could it be a virius ?

The recovery manager helps you recover your factory shipped computer programs and drivers should you experience a computer failure or instability. The recovery manager can be accessed by either of the following:

Click Start and start TYPING recovery in the search field. Select Recovery Manager from the list provided.

Recovery Manager is also accessible by pressing F11 during boot and allows users to recover the factory preinstalled image.

Software PROGRAM re-installation:

If you select No and Next , you will be provided INFORMATION for contacting HP Support. Clicking Finish will close the program.
