Answer» Hi!
First of all, I am a complete noob at tech and if this question has ever been asked/answered here my apologies then. I have just purchased a HP G5200uk-m desktop pc,technical details:
http://www.pixmania.co.uk/uk/uk/7497009/art/hp/pavilion-g5200uk-m-deskto.html
It came with a 20"Hp monitor which has been working fine but now I would like to connect another monitor,a 24"AOC 2436SWA widescreen TFT 1900x1080 to the PC and use them both at the same time.
How can I make that happen?Thank you indeed!
Regards, Thomas Here are some things mothers do with TWO monitors.
Classroom display. The original monitor is used by the teacher. A much larger monitor is viewed by STUDENTS. Everything on the teacher monitor is seen by the students. A simple adapter may be used.
Expanded desktop. Two monitors of the same size are side by side. A document or spread sheet goes across both monitors, thereby increasing the NUMBER of columns. A Dual-Head graphics card is required.
Two window workstation. The user has two programs open at the same time. He has two SEPARATE displays. The Operating system may PERMIT cut and paste between the two. Again, Dual-Head graphics.
The most piratical solution for three is a Dual Head graphics card. If you machine will not not allow another graphics card, there are some other options, but can be rather expensive.
Graphics card : NVIDIA® GeForce® 6150 SE is capable of two monitors. However, I do not know how it is implemented on you particular desktop. Are there two video ports on the back?
