Solve : HP DeskJet 5440?

I purchased the above referenced printer 7 months ago and everything has been working fine until today. When I go to print something, I get an error message stating that it the ink cartridge is incorrect. I've tried REBOOTING the COMPUTER, taking the cartridges out and placing them back in; it still doesn't work. Any suggestions?vthompsontx...... According to what I can see ...that printer should still be under warrantee ......... Contact HP or try the live online chat ......

dl65 You can always try UNINSTALLING the software, rebooting and reinstalling. Then HOOK the printer back in. May be WORTH a shot!
