Hi!

I tried to mount local folder as drive and it requires network location only.
So, I tried to use webbrowser format like when is local file opened in browser:

file:///F:/VirtualBox/Shared/

Not success - location not found.

I know that any command in command line exist to do it, but don't remember which and if is possible to mount local folder.

So, Q is SIMPLE: How to mount local folder as drive?

Now folder F:\Freebasic also appears as drive Q:
Will not persist after REBOOT unless you put it in a batch file in your Startup folder. May not be USEFUL if you need to ACCESS the drive letter during boot.

2. Windows 10

Right click folder you wish to share
Click "Give Access to"
Click "Advanced Sharing" menu item
Click Advanced Sharing button
Check Share This Folder checkbox
Edit share name if needed
Click OK
Copy Network Path

Open Windows Explorer in This PC
Select Manage
click Map Network Drive
Select spare letter
Paste Network Path
click reconnect at logon (if you want it to)
