Best of luck!Hi, just make sure your computer is set to boot to cd rom, when it starts up, it will say hit delete button, or one of the F buttons to enter setup, Thats where u set to boot to cd. Then save and exit, put WINDOWS cd in and AWAY u go.Hiya, I have PC set to boot up from CD ROM. Windows XP is only partially installed so every time I switch on PC it automatically goes to continue install from where it stopped. It keeps asking for XP CD but when I install it doesn't recognize it, the drives light come on and a CD icon appears beside on screen cursor for a few moments and that's about it! This is the same drive that I used to install XP before. I've REPLACED drive to see if there was a problem with other drive but it's still the same. Really don't know enough about this but would be grateful for any more advice. I would really like to be able get back to C drive so that I could format. I hope that I have been able to explain my problem and sincere apologies if I have caused confusion. Once again thank you for your time and for your advice.
