I had to grant someone a remote access to my computer TODAY. He used "LinkMeIn" and I remember I had to type in the 6-digit PIN to start the connection. Once he finished what he had to do on my computer, I clicked the red "X" at top to disconnect.
Since I am a NEWBIE and know absolutely nothing about remote desktop thing, I'm just wondering was that enough to completely stop the connection. Meaning he won't be ABLE to access my computer anymore, correct?
Your suggestion is much appreciated. Thank you. :-)I believe without the PIN being typed in he's not going to be able to re-connect. If you're concerned about him reconnecting you could always uninstall the PROGRAM. That'd be a SURE method of preventing any connection, although a little drastic.
