I have Windows 7 and a Radeon HD 6670 and 4 GB RAM. I have a Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 and I changed the RESOLUTION in that game to 1440 * 1054 or something like that. Turns out my computer supports only till 1440 * 900. Now when I try to start the game a portion of the screen goes black and bit can be seen of the desktop on the right hand side. How can I change the resolution back to normal?You need to edit the config file and PUT in the proper resolution. I don't know where it is for Call of Duty, but almost any FPS game has one.Thanks man, i think this was the same problem for batman arkham asylum i was having. unfortunately i deleted the game in frustration
Getting games to RUN can be a daunting task at times.

Did you find the config file?For cod yes. But for baman arkham asylum not yet. I suppose you find it only on installing?SYeah, although I guess you could just Google for its location.

I haven't actually seen any modern games do this more but I guess it still happens.
