Solve : how to... (?)?

Answer»

Hello out there:  I am using windows 98 se on my laptop.  I have downloaded some marine charts and want to put them on my "seaclear" program.  However, I can't figure out how to move them.  My "help" on windows says to cut and paste, however on my seaclear program there is no header to allow me to do this.  Also it says I can drag my files to where I want them, but that does'nt work either.  I'm at a loss.  Please help.  Thank You.  el-don :-/ Quote

START->Programs->Windows Explorer

Can you locate them with Windows Explorer?    If you can,  highlight a file,  right click it, and you should get a pop up menu.   Go from there.   If you still have trouble,  COME back here and describe it.

If you can't locate them in Windows Explorer,   and if you remember the name(s) of them,    Start->Find->Files and Folders
Set it to look in all your hard drives.
Does that help you find them?

Tip:  Quick shortcut to Windows Explorer up -  Hold down the Windows key and tap the letter  E  .

Hey there:  Yep, O.K.  I found them on explorer.  But had to pull up file for the program also.  That is where I was stuck.  Once I had that file opened, I was able to copy and paste.  WORKED LIKE a CHARM.  Thanks for the advice.  Regards, El-Don
