I have my defragmentation PROGRAM done at 1 AM on each Wednesday. I assume that the computer should be left on. Is there a BETTER way than just leaving it on, like sleep or something?
Thanks BobIf your defragmentation is being done as a Scheduled Task, you may be able to edit that task's SETTINGS to enable it to wake the computer from sleep.

Thanks for your reply. I will check out what you SUGGEST. Thanks BobI don't shut down/power off my desktop computer. I have the monitor set to turn off after 10 minutes of non-use but I leave the computer on all the TIME. Works for me.I shut my PC down when not in use...
