Answer» Hi,
I recently got a very FUNNY voice mail from a friend of mine on my Verizon Blackberry, and I would like to SAVE it on my laptop. How would I GO about either transferring or copying the voice mail to my laptop?
Thanks!
-cinque8Have you tried emailing it to yourself at your default email address? Then you could save it to your computer.I've never used a smartphone, so maybe they do things differently, but voicemail usually isn't saved as a file. In such a case, you would have hook a microphone up to your laptop and use it to record the message.
Of course, if smartphones do indeed save voicemail messages to the device, then ignore what I just SAID (although it is still an option).TulsaRose,
I will look into your email suggestion, it sounds like it just might work. I did try something similar to what CBMatt suggested. I got a 3.5mm dual-male-connector audio cable and connected one end to the HEADSET jack of my Blackberry and the other end to the microphone jack on my laptop. I then downloaded the free version of Goldwave sofware, and I was able to copy the file to my hard drive.
Thanks
