Answer» I would like to set up an e-mail address that would forward all incomming e-mail and change the sender.
EXAMPLE: Random person sends mail to an ACCOUNT that I set up: From: [email protected] To: [email protected] Subject: Test message Hi!
This account will then automatically forward it to ANOTHER adress with itself as a sender: From: [email protected] To: [email protected] Subject: Test message Hi!
I am looking for some kind of service that will let me do this, since I do not have a available server to configure. I tried playing AROUND with forward settings in hotmail, gmail, etc. but I cannot MAKE it change the sender address. The forum can not help you with something that could be used for crime. Is the a good resown to hide the source of the message automatically?
Gmail Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab can not do this?If you have your own mail server with an open relay then this would not be a problem. We do this where I work but it is locked down to only communicate with other application servers that use the open relay. Most mail servers have this feature locked down.
