Answer» What would be the type of CPU you have and its highest measured temperature plus the ambient temperature at that moment?
Recently, I MANAGED to create a new personal record.
Cooler Master Aero 7 Lite with ARCTIC Silver thermal compound AMD XP Athlon 2800 at 2.08Ghz 71 degrees Celcius 85.2 degrees Fahrenheit (Ambient temperature)
That can be considered a good thing? Yes and no... That could be a future problem right? What made the temperature jump up so much?
[glb]Flame[/glb]The LOWER the temperature of your CPU, the better. A high CPU temperature is never good, since it will cause performance to degrade and also SHORTEN the life span of the CPU.
However, AMD is known for higher temperatures and according to AMD TECHNICAL support I should not have to start worrying unless it reaches 80 degrees Celcius
