Answer» When I try to print, it TELLS me to remove and check the color cartridge. I do this, but it still tells me the same thing when I put it back in. Any IDEAS on what I should do. I KNOW it is not out of ink.How old is this printer? One thing you may want to try is to clean the print heads. HP's built-in Toolbox should have a setting to perform this for you. How old are the ink cartridges...new?...used? If worse comes to worse, the print heads can be physically REMOVED and soaked (overnight) in some warm water...allowed to thoroughly dry and then reinstalled.
