Answer» i'm trying to set up a wireless connection and i thought i had THINGS going ok until i tried connecting and keep getting a limited or no connectivy message. the router is a d-link DIR-300. and i hooked up a netopia usb card to the other computer. i ran IPCONFIG LIKE you suggested and got the following: ethernet dapter local area connection - media state - disconnected ethernet adapter wireless network connection - connection specific DNS suffix - blank autoconfig IP address - 169.254.127.222 subnet mask - 255.255.0.0 default gateway - blank and in case you were WONDERING....yes i'm pretty ignorant when it comes to this STUFF i ask that you be patient as i'm grateful for any assistance thanks Rod
