Answer» Hi, I recently bought a Texas Instruments ti-83 calculator ALONG with the serial black graph link cable. I wanted to install programs on it but my pc doesn't have an rs-232 port so I bought a serial-usb adapter. Plugged the graph link cable to my calculator and the other END to the serial-usb adapter and turned the calculator on. Then I went to install the ti-connect software and the drivers for the adapter. It didn't work. After this I TRIED to install the original graph link software from ti. It didn't even open, and windows said that the software is incompatible with my pc, however the graph link's installer WORKED just fine, but the application itself didn't. I've tried TiLP too. GOT many errors. |
