Solve : Help with old laptop and windows 95? |
|
Answer» Hey dont know if anyone remebers my last post but I have/had a project on this old laptop that has windows 95 I was concerned about saving the data but now I am not I just want to get the most out of this very old laptop. I was getting an error about an iso file during start up but because I was trying different things I had read on other sites and now I have a bigger problem because I can no longer start in safe mode. I have found a Win 95 cd I can get it to work in the comand prompt mode where you see C:\> I tried selecting the Drive D (CD I think) and typing setup for the Win 95 but that did not work it said there is no directory for the drive. I dont know how to use this system to rename folders tell me what to type and I will do it. I have a floppy drive now on my computer but all of the disks I have tried will not format so I could not make a win 95 boot disk that I found on bootdisk dot com. Thanks muchbumpbumpbelieve me, pal, bumping will get you nada. |
