Hi

I have a problem with trying to INSTALL software - when I click on the "setup.exe" file i get an error message:

[Window title bar - 16bit Windows Subsystem]C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MSDOS and Microsoft Windows applications ...

I am not sure what the problem is. The applications I am trying to install all run ok on XP HOME, but not on my new laptop running XP pro. They are fairly recent programs (IE not OLD software).

I'd appreciate any help please

Thanks, JamesDid you install the latest updates? Perhaps it is a compatability issue.
