Hey their, after getting sent a Backdoor.Subseven a week AGO, my computer is still suffering. I dont know much about computers, but I have deleted the virus, and it isnt showing up on my virus scan when I run it. The other thing I did was deleted WINLOADER in the Regitry Editor. According to Noton I was suppose to do that.

But NOW I cant enter ANY of my old programs,  for any of them you get the following three errors; application not found, locate the file in the below box, or C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\rundll.exe application not found.

Can anybody help?

Thanks in AdvancedThat's strange... I get the feeling that you may not have deleted all of the files.... Did you delete all of them? Also, which operating system is this?

[glb]Flame[/glb]XP Home. And to add, when I type in Control to Run DOS Control, It doesnt WORK START, Run, then type cmd then ok, will take you to the command prompt.
When I type in cmd all I get is a box with "Open file with" on topRESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, follow these steps: 1. Put the Windows XP CD ROM disk in the CD ROM drive.  
2. Click Start, and then click Run.
3. Type expand X:\i386\rundll32.ex_ c:\windows\rundll32.exe in the Open box, where X is the letter of your CD ROM Drive.  
4. Restart the computer.
