Answer» Im not sure if this is the right place but if anyone can help I would APPRECIATE it. I cannot get to any email on the internet. I usually use yahoo and when I click on sign in it says DSN ERROR page not AVAILABLE. So I went to other email sites on the web and it says the same thing on all of them. Everything else on my computer is working except that. I dont know what happened or whats going on. HELP! What type of connection do you have at what is your operating system?Windows XP and Roadrunner as internet.RoadRunner...is that dial-up or broadband?
Also...have you made any recent software or hardware changes to your computer lately?
It may be something as simple as clearing your temporary Internet cache.
Will wait for your reply. Its broadband cable. I went on vacation for 2 weeks and my computer was shut down that whole time. Its been happening EVER since I turned it back on. I even tried to do a system restore and it said that I had made no changes to my computer so it couldnt do it. I deleted my cookies and internet FILES too. Thanks so much for answering me!Is your computer connected to a modem and a router?
Try turning off the router first...then the modem.
Wait 30 seconds...turn the modem on...let it reset itself...wait until it's ready and turn the rouer back on...it should reset itself as well.
Reboot your computer.Problem fixed. There was something up with my Active X and I fixed it. I think it was turned off or something and would not read certificates from secure sites. Its working now. Thank you for all your help!!
