I'm not SURE if this questions belong in here and if it doesn't then I'm really sorry but I'm going crazy with my computer, right now I'm on a friends computer since my comp. doesn't open at all...

I don't really know what happened to it, I looked in the basics area thing and couldn't find anything that seemed like what was happening to my computer, I was online last night everything was ok then I opened netscape and there was a monk.dll error, I closed it and went to the netscape folder to look for the monk.dll thing and for some reason I don't know why I opened, then winamp stopped then I closed both and everything was cool! I was again listening to music, instaling netscape all over again and going around some PAGES on IE then I opened MSN and the whole thing stuck, winamp, IE everything and the comp. STARTED making strange noises, then I shutted down...

Then when I went to turn it on again it wouldn't go to the windows, it APPEARED a message saying something like RPL-ROM-FFC=1 then it would go til 200... something like that, I even wrote it down... then now when I try to turn it on it SAYS that there is a disc error and I must press CTRL+ALT+DEL to restart the thing, but that's all it says...

Can someone please help me? I have no idea what happened to it  can you boot in safe mode?
