You computer does not support Shader Model 2.0 or higher." We have changed video CARDS, i have adjusted the programing as the site RECOMMENDED. i cant do anything to help this game. I need some assistance desperately!!!!! We need more information, Please look here. What Operating System? What are your computer specs?we are running Windowss XP Pro my computer is one that was put together by a friend of mine, or i thought it was a friend but it was recently reformatted by our computer guy at work and since has been running great until i installed Conan. If so, perhaps you could try System Restoring to a date before this problem started happening. SM2 is REQUIRED to be fully supported in order for Conan to launch. You will receive this error with very old nVidia/ATI cards. Your card may not be supported due to this. If it is and you are at the lower end of the system requirements, please do the following: Start the game. When you hear the music starting, a prefs file has been written and you can edit it (in Notepad for example). To find this, you must go to control panel -> folder options -> view -> turn on see hidden files and folders. Launch Age of Conan. Please do check the minimum specifications to make absolutely certain that your video card is supported.Just a comment about Conan..I was playing this game and it is loaded down with bugs. Tons of people cant play even with hi end computers such as mine. If u look on the Conan official forums u will find an answer to this very problem. Side note: Ive seen better CUSTOMIZATION and graphics in Perfect World game then in Conan.

This generally happens because your video card does not properly support Shader Model 2.0. SM2 is REQUIRED to be fully supported in order for Conan to launch.
